A year ago, Digital-i took a step into the unknown. We launched our first version of SoDA, an SVOD tracker and online dashboard that opened the door on UK Netflix viewing. 12 months on, Digital-i has measured Netflix viewing in 7 territories and introduced Amazon Prime viewing onto SoDA UK. This extraordinary trajectory from a UK-based BARB bureau to an international provider of SVOD ratings has been recognised by one of the most prestigious industry bodies, MRG (Media Research Group).
Digital-i is now taking steps to upgrade the frequency of our data loads, enrich our data points and expand our coverage to Netflix and Amazon Prime in more territories across the world.
The MRG award shortlist this year includes companies such as Google, Twitter, Discovery Inc. and PwC, as well as some of the most respected British broadcasters like BBC and ITV. Digital-i now finds themselves competing alongside these big players for international research, innovation, collaboration and research initiative awards.
