Brown joins Digital i in preparation for the global roll-out of SVOD measurement service, SoDA.
Former Kantar Media Global CEO Andy Brown has accepted the role of Strategic Advisor at Digital i. He joins to accelerate the global expansion of the SoDA platform.
SoDA is a behavioural streaming measurement and analytics platform. It empowers media companies by providing deep competitor insight into the world’s most successful streaming companies and their strategies.
Throughout his career, Brown has been instrumental in large-scale international negotiations. During his time at Kantar, he oversaw the establishment and management of media measurement services in over 50 markets.
In 2019, Digital i moved from British TV analytics to SVOD measurement in the UK. Following a surge in demand for international SVOD viewership information, Digital i launched the service in Europe. With global ambitions, Digital i has set its sights on covering over 90% of all mainstream SVOD viewing by 2023.
Brown stated, “It is a very exciting time to be joining Digital i as they expand the SoDA business, both in terms of the number of markets and the range of streaming services measured. In the coming months, Digital i will be announcing groundbreaking new features and metrics for SoDA.
